About Greenbrier Books

Fiction That’s Too Good to Be Out of Print

We think that the traditional publishing model — and some traditional publishers — have been incredibly wasteful of high-quality fiction. Books are declared “out of print” so quickly (sometimes in a matter of months) that readers don’t have an opportunity to discover novels — and novelists — they would enjoy reading. Enter Greenbrier Books! We put fine novels from established novelists back into print. And we plan to keep them there!

We’re eBook-Centric

Greenbrier is an “eBook-centric” publisher. That means we initially publish eBooks in formats compatible with Amazon’s Kindle, B&N’s Nook, Apple’s iPad, iPod, and iPhone, and most other popular eBook readers.  We also selectively publish paper versions for readers who demand traditional books.

About Author Submissions to Greenbrier Books …

If you are a novelist or literary agent curious about our “query and submission processes,” the simple answer is: we don’t have either. We intend to focus our efforts on publishing established novelists. We may publish a few debut novelists in the months ahead, but they are authors already known to us. So… please don’t send us queries, proposals, or other submissions. We’re not able to respond.
